David Wagoner’s poem “Lost” reminds us:  “Wherever you are called is Here. You must treat it as a powerful stranger.”  Recently, I have been more intentional about taking that on as a prayer practice–living in the Here. I find that I notice more–not just about the world around me, but also about what’s going on inside me. How certain aspects of my day are impacting me, and more importantly, how I greet those moments.  This image focuses on the black-eyed susans rather than the mountains to remind me of the Here and that regardless of what’s in the future, I can be present with the Now.
