Most days, if you take the time to just be, creation reminds us of the simple truths in life–love, hope, forgiveness, etc. This morning, I found the bulbs in my window to speak to me more meaningfully than words in a book.
For many of us, winter can be a time of emotional hibernation–we may feel the dark wrapped around us weighing on our shoulders creating a sense of heaviness.
These photos reminded me that even then, both darkness and light weave together to nurture us and re-create us.
God of Re-Creation,
Remind us that even when we feel rooted in darkness,
Our spirits still reach toward the light and warmth
of your love.
Amen
